Client Description
The University Puget Sound opened a new aquatics center, complimenting and extending the University’s historic Memorial Fieldhouse, as a commitment to supporting an integrated living and learning experience for students and competitive training facilities for student athletes.
Project overview
The bright two-story entrance hall leads to the Loggers Hall of Fame. A large wall of MDF panels wraps the entrance with a slash through representing the hatchet, an important symbol in the University’s history. Founded in 1966 to honor extraordinary individuals in the rich history of Logger Athletics, the Hall of Fame has inducted a total of 106 student-athletes, coaches, administrators and contributors. Individual inductee plaques were redesigned as etched wood in a tribute to the Logger spirit.
